The Engineering Life!!!!

My Engineering life started on 2nd August 2004..that day was 1st visit to my engineering class...was quite boring....I came from the Naval family environment and i have seen people of all kinds there but here in college what i saw was too odd..I saw here different kinds of people everywhere..they were conservative, mean, orthodox, mutiny and lots more, but there were some nice people around there...Thats hw the college people were..coming to college was not very big and as i was coming first time to in any institution after schools, i felt my college too big and enjoyable...

My first year, in college was horrible the seniors fear, the home sickness and everything that a student can feel in his first year, i felt all of that...Earlier i was der in Hostel Sangama where the ragging to juniors was famous in all over that area..but my luck somehow i managed myself to the first year student hostel in Chromepet and der came the fun...we enjoyed a lot there..it was fun time der, we were not restricted for anything except some formal rules, and which i think was meant to be broken and it happened in the same way...me and my friends were on the top of the hostel rooms..we were altogether seven people (Me, Anirudh, Deepak, Rohit, Lappi, Harish) out there and everyone had a great fun in that room..and in weekends on friday we use to go back home and come back on sunday evening...The whole two semesters we did that, we never let a chance to go back home anytime.... the college was quite boring that year..nothing to do..just some bundles of friends and some narrow minded people who dont want to mingle with anyone...But, as it was an introductory year i met new people from every parts of India..i met people from Andhra, Kerela, Bengali's, North easterns, Kashmiris, north indians, Bihari, Jharkhandi, Punjabi, Haryanis and ofcourse, the Tamilians and everytime whenever we chat with each other, we always ends up in some kind of controversial debates as everyone express their views on differnt things and never anyone thought matched with each other so this leads to all that i mentioned earlier....Then comes the ragging, frankly i was ragged but not that much..in name of ragging, i was questioned, introduction, some asked me to sing and thats it..nothing more than that....In exams i did well in my first year..Didnt studied hard..so that in first semester i got one year and tht too i think must have not got that result..in second due to my mischief act i got two arrears....So, atlast before end of theyear, My dad got transfered to Mumbai, Navy Nagar and he shifted there with my whole family which resulted in end of my home visiting in weekends..After the exams i stayed there for three days in which one day i spent at Deepak's Home in Arakkonam and then i came to Mumbai..this year i go in touch with many people but i think there some good people whose name i should mention here they were..Lashmipathy, Rohit, Anirudh, Deepak, Snehasish, Jitender, Sukanto, Rakesh and many more....

After my semester holidays, i returned back to Chennai..I straight away headed to Sangama hostel, my friends have already reached there..we paid the hostel money and got ourself a room...Here, the condition of hostel was worse...and it even got worst after we saw the same yr of student of our batch were treating us like first years..earlier we didnt like it but later on when we heard them..we thought they mite be right as they spent one whole year under seniors and did whatever they were asked to..Coming back, they didnt remain same, they mingled us with them as soon as the new batch came and we too became senior der..After that hostel was quite nice..the hostel life was too good..in chromepet we were not restricted for anything but here we were like free birds and with juniors out there..we had a great fun der....In college, even there scenario changed, everyone seems to got too freely with everyone and from there evn our main studies of CSE started and life was going very smoothly...But, that year it rained too much..due to which evn our exams were postponed many times..resulted in lots of leave between exams..and between the second last paper and last paper there was 15 days leave..so i went home, but due to some confusion i was not able to make myself for the last paper and i missed that and i got one arrear in third semester but easily cleard my two last semester papers...and fourth semester was very cool..i cleard with no arrears that sem with 8.4 CGPA...In this year i came in contact with my old friend from Arakkonam..She was quite nice to me..and usually i spent my time in weekends with her, if she comes down to Chennai....After the end of the year i went back to Mumbai to my parents...

The Holidays ended up and I returned back to Chennai, for my third year of college..it was as usual the hostel life..we got more free than last year even the junior's juniors came to the hostel..We were bounded to nothing..In college there also things didntdidnt became a hard drinker but by the time I became a regular smoker..I went to many places this year with my girlfriend..like Pondicherry, Mahabalipuram and almost every places in Chennai..Got myself too much in that..The year was even saddest of all..I lost many things which I think, I cant describe here..then semester leave came up and I went back to my parents in Mumbai...

Then came the last year of college..This time I didnt continued staying in hostel..We got ourself a room in camp road..we were altogether seven people in that room(me, Suman, Sekhar, Rohit, Snehasish, Deepak & Sudhir)..we got ourself a room on the first floor of a house with no owner was staying with us..and i think this was the most unforgettable year of my life..Just seven people in a house and with no one to watch out us..We started cooking food for ourselves in the starting month but then some of us started moving out for the food..We never studied in that room either we use to roam outside, we sit on computer, we watch tv, smoke, drink and lot more thing we did..We even went to Pondicherry once by booking a car...I went to Mysore twice that year once in August and another time on December..In semester leaves we all went back to our places except Suman, Sudhir & Deepak..In college, life was very smoothly going..Our department teachers gave all the important questions before the exams were started..I was having no arrears and went on clearing the seventh semester with an ease..Then came the eighth semester, we all were having burden of getting placed in some company placement but except Suman  & Sekhar no one made it i our room..That semester we just had classes for two days in week that too half day...I along with my two friends(Anirudh & Pranay) went to Nellore's Krishnapatnam Port for our project..so i spent 60% of my time of that semester in Nellore itself..In between I went once again to Mysore and I would have never thought that  it will be my last visit to Mysore for that specific work...The last semester exams dates came on head and before that we got 15 days leave...We made Holi festival in grand way that year, the last Holi of engineering..Then the practical exams and exams came up...The papers were not that much tough and everyone wrote well..Hence, engineering life ended up here, except for some people who either got year back due to lack of attendance/poor academic performance  or who were carrying arrears after the exams were done..Then it was the time to say goodbye to everyone..Those who got placed we were waiting for their call and those who didnt got, they started packing their luggage to go back home..In our room Sekhar was the first one to leave, then Suman, after that Snehasish, then Sudhir, after him to follow was Deepak..Rohit booked himself a new room in Pallikaranai along with a new student Laxman who was going to start his Engineering life in Sairam Engineering college..Then Rohit too went home for one month..Snehasish got a job in Nokia but didnt last there for too many days and left the job and he too went to Andaman...I spent my final two weeks in a friend room and after doing my work, I too came back home...In all ways the engineering life ended perhaps the only thing was left was to collect our degree certificates..We all became Engineers and I guess we all can never forget our engineering life in our whole lifetime and I guess that life will never come back again...........................

Boring Days!!!

Now the days are getting boring and don’t know what to do and what not to...the days are passing as usual and boring..Just sleeping late at nights...so wakes up late in morning..then after the daily morning routines n breakfast, i just sit either on tv or on my laptop..in tv there's nothing to watch and in laptop(net) except just chatting around, scrapping n doing some shit..there is nothing more left….in afternoon i try to study for my IELTS(International English Language Testing System) exam but i guess it’s never convincing enough..then in evening I go out with my bhanjha(sister's son) to play with him, roam with him so I get some time to pass...after that I used to spent most of the time with my friends either by sitting, chatting, playing or even gossiping(for time pass)...my friends, they really take my stress away..But it happens maximum on weekends and weekdays they all gets busy with their studies or work...so the boring time continues...

Just hoping to write my exam soon and score good enough to get a good university there in Canada fr my M.S....preparing hard but don’t know what will be the result..And after that if everything goes well I want to soon leave for Canada...hoping that everything goes on the same way I thought..den I guess the boring days will be gone….Just tell me some way to get over this as usual boring days….

Chennai Superkings the Champion of IPL 2010..

The Indian Premier League came to its end with the final match between Chennai Superkings and Mumbai Indians. Where CSK defeated MI by 22 runs and became the IPL champion for the first time. And as the last ball was bowled the IPL commissioner and chairman Mr. Lalit Modi lost his post which was announced by BCCI. And Very next day the new chairman and commissioner of IPL was declared and it was the Mr. Chirayu Ammin who got this postion.
Coming back to the match Chennai Superkings really outplayed Mumbai Indians in all departments either its was batting, bowling, fielding or in taking catches. CSK outclassed MI to become the IPL Champions 2010. Earlier, when Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first, the decision was thought was not correct as both opener Mathew Hayden and Murali Vijay got out very cheaply and after that the decision even got more incorrect when the middle order too collapsed at regular intervals. Evn Dhoni said in post match presentation that they just looked for around 140 after seeing the wicket falling. But there was one man Suresh Raina who stood strongly against the MI bowlers and with three mammoth sixes he gave pace to the CSK innings and atlast they ended on 166, not a very good score but as the MI will felt the pressure in batting second in the final game, as it was too hot & humid and the final game pressure so it happened the same way and they just manage to score 144/9 after their 20 overs.
As everyone know that in chasing second on the final game is always a tough task for any batting lineup. And that what exactly happened with Mumbai Indians they lost their first wicket on third over itself which mounted pressure on MI and even Sachin looked out of color that day and he just managed to score 48 out 45 balls. Mumbai Indians too lost their wickets on regular intervals due to which the run rate climbed upto 17 runs/over. Then came the inform batsmen Pollard, he really made match very exciting as he scored 22 runs in Bolinger's one over. This made whole CSK team to worry and to think on, as he was going very strongly but then came the Dhoni decision to make a surprise change in the field he kept Hayden jus beside where the bowler starts he run up. And to everyone surprise it even worked and on Morkel’s over the catch was amazingly taken by Hayden at that position and from there MI innings came to end and just the formality was left to bowl the remaining balls. Mumbai Indians just fall shortly by 22 runs, and Chennai Superkings became the IPL champion 2010.
In the presentation party Sachin was declared both Orange cap and Golden player of the year. Pragyan Ojha got the purple cap. Tiwary got the future player of India award. Andrew Symonds was the highest catchers of the IPL. For the match Suresh Raina was the man of the match and after Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers the Chennai Superkings name was engraved in the trophy of the IPL.

Saath Paouri(Haji Malang) Mountain Trip....

The trip to Haji Malang..First let me describe about the Haji Malang..Its a Muslim mosque which is situated on one of the ridge of Saath Pouri mountains...But as its a Holy place for Muslims...so the people refer it has Haji Malang Mountains...

Now lets come down to my story..we were all together four friends who planned to visit the saath paouri mountains. Me, Magesh, Suraj and Micheal...Its all about the first three..we three always look for adventures things..like climbing mountains, discovering forests and backwoods..just a week before we climbed the saath Paouri mountains we have climbed a mountain jus 3 km north to our area...and we felt so excited climbing that we planned to go the top of saath paouri mountain which looks too huge and frightening from that place..and so we planned for one day...and on that day Micheal, we just took him with us...He had no plans nothing...But this Micheal chap just to have fun he sticked with us..and for that he has to bunk his college for that day...

So that day came..We started from our places and by Omni van we reached that place...and after paying initial tickets we started climbing...till dargah we have ladders in other word staircase..in some areas the ladders are evn bent upto 75 degree..and its was too hot out der..so that we spend lots of our money in getting refreshments..then after one and half hour of climbing we reached dargah...after finishing from there we came out and started our way more to the top..as we started there was a board indicating..that the dargah trust will not take responsibility of any damages evn to the life..so we were on our own...from here started the real climbing..the really dangerous path...

Again to climb saath paouri we purchased the tickets..and then by giving a small amount we hired a guide for us...so that we are not lost in that big ridge and he is the only who can help us to climb to the top...there was one more guy who was all alone..so he joined us and we start climbing..initially path was pretty easy just 30-35 degree path but after climbing 100 meters the real path came..the 70-80 degree path and we were with no protection except some sand full of rocks to hold on.. however we continued climbing and reached the first point..here the guy Magesh he got scared and he denied to climb the remaining part of the mountain..we insisted him, forced him but he refused..so from there we three friends Me, Suraj & Micheal continued our climbing with that guy and the guide...

At one point Micheal would have thought that he should have too denied climbing along with Magesh coz the next path was damn scary..the 85 degree path that too on slippery rocks...one mistake and that can be fatal...he was damn scared..the guide and that guy named Vikash reached the top while we were holding Micheal so that he can come up...We saw them up..there were about 100 metre above us and it was like they are standing parallely with us at 100m above height..some how we reached there along with Micheal..From there we saw the view of downmosque and the downvillage...its was nearly 1 km away from that height...uffffffffffffffff....

As i said that it was too hot and humid and that too it was afternoon 1 pm...due to which we all felt shortage of water in our body and felt thirsty..we said this to our guide..Guide took all of us to the one place in that rocky mountain..we thought it might be impossible to get water there..but what we see that there was two water caves..not too big but our guide sa that the water comes here from nowhere coz it was box type cave and like someone has made a blast to make the hole..and everyone know that, we dont find snow in Maharastra mountains..anyways we went inside and drank water and quenched our thirst...

After that we came back to our path..and statred our climbing..the way was as similar to the previous one except that we were on more height, nothing to hold on and we were walking on the edges of the ridge with around 1000ft above the ground...there you must have seen Micheal he was very scared...Evn Suraj was scared at one point but soon he recovered..anyways we continued and reached the rock climbing path...It was like two tall ridges and we were standing on the top of one of them..and we have to reach on another...the gap was around 50m..so we did that by throwing the rope to the other side..made a knot on that side of rope..made it struck to one hard solid rock...then we tied other end to our side of ridge..then one by one we tied ourselves with ropes..and did the rock climbing and we crossed that gap...From there our Guide said that he wont come any more coz he has to also cross other people from that gap who are coming behind us..yes you are right that day we were the first people to reach that top....anyways we four continued our journey from there..similar path like every path i told you before..and after half an hour of climbing we reached the top, The Shaitan Killa..Shaitan Killa it was name given by the muslim people as they say once the Shaitan(The Devil) use to stay here and use to torture people by Killing,Annoying, eating them..So that the Haji Malang Baba came there killed this Shaitan(The Devil) and from that day this Mountain got famous as Haji Malang..Anyways this all story are Mythological...we were damn happy to make it to the top...we saw the view from there..we were almost just beside the peak..and it was around 700 to 800m above the ground..we even felt a bit cool...Then we took some snaps of us there and after one hour we strated climbing downwards...

Climbing down looks easy coz it doesnt take much of energy as what climbing does...evn though it was the same path we climbed up..but as we go down the 70 to 80 degree path it is like as we are climbing down a ladder from the terrace of big tower of 20 to 25 storeys, it feels really scary....and while doing that we lost our balance many times..sometimes the sand slips sometimes the rocks..but anyhow slowly and steadily we make our way to the bottom...after reaching the point where Magesh stopped, we said him the whole excitement of climbing up & down of the mountain and due to which Magesh too got excited and decided to climb... so that once more we all decided to climb..but before that we all came back to the dargah and had our lunch in the hotels besides the path of dargah ladders...

3o'clock was the time when we finished with our lunch and refreshment..And then we again started climbing..but as our stomach was full we tired very soon..and halted after every five minutes of climbing...then we again reached the first point...and this time we found a lots and lots of monkey around there..and if anyone is holding anything in their hands like cameras, mobiles, purses they were snatching that from them..hmmmmm...Magesh was again scared but this time we made him to reach at least that water caves. He was too scared and funny while climbing all the way..And he was too scared that he said to return back..so from there we returned back..and reached the dargah...It was 6 by then..After that the only things was left to come down from the dragah staircase...it took two hours by us to come down to the ground and to the gates..from there we catched omni and returned back to ur home....We reached home and we were exhausted.... but we enjoyed a lot this day.....
